Christmas 2010

Our first Christmas together! We celebrated Christmas with Brian's family on Christmas Eve, along with his nephew, David's Christmas Day Birthday.

We hosted Brian's annual Christmas Eve party at the house. It was a fun night with good people, but it didn't get too crazy.

Christmas morning at my mom and dad's house. We had our traditional Christmas Day celebrations of breakfast, gifts, then dinner and cookies, and lot of visiting and Christmas music and movies. It was a fun day. Long, but fun.

Looks like someone's getting a new custom Twins Jersey!

The next Tim Lincecum? With that hair, probably.

Tsnownami 2010

As if we hadn't already gotten enough snow with that first snowfall, we had to get this record snowfall. It started Friday night and this was on Saturday, as it continued to dump on us all day into the night.

Well luckily I had switched weekends for the Vikings game, so I didn't have to work. So of course we tied one on Saturday night.

There was so much snow and it was so cold all day that Daisy didn't even want to go out to pee or poop. We finally got her to go in the driveway.
And with a little coaxing from us she even pooped!

And Sunday morning came. With the collapse of the metrodome roof, the game we were supposed to go to was rescheduled for Monday night in Detroit! So we had nothing better to do, so we snowblowed and shoveled for the better part of the day. Over 6 hours with the two of us. Thank goodness for my new snowblower!

Now that's a lot of snow!

View of Snelling from Brian's driveway. Plowed in.
This was us driving to Brian's house, cars stuck everywhere! Seriously, where were these people going on a Sunday morning?
Side streets were a no entry zone. Lol

Man, that thing can throw some snow!

And that is about as official as you can get. We got over a foot of snow.

Big Momma busting through the pile on Snelling.

That's right! I did me some snowblowing!

Look at me go!

After those 6+ hours of snowblowing/shoveling, we planned on gettin our drink on again, but instead we passed out on the couch about 8 o'clock. That's a lot of work. Well, there's one for the books.
